Ki o Rahi

Ki o Rahi was a great sport for the term and was also a new one to add for our list of sports that we should try out sometime.Ki o Rahi is one of the most interesting take on sports i've seen in a while.In some cases sometimes it reminds me of what would happen if Ripper Rugby and Softball did a collaboration.

This is one of my Quick writes for the morning,It is blur because I didn't want it at it's original size because it would be pretty big and I don't want the image too big.

Constable Taina

 Last week and the past couple days we have been with Constable Taina,we have learnt many key facts about certain drugs in New Zealand.The effects of certain drugs were shocking. Methamphetamine had some scary effects on you.Like hallucinations that make you feel like there are bugs crawling into your skin and you think you feel so alive. Meth has even triggered a lot of crimes like car crashes and homicides to many more.Magic Mushrooms are so unpredictable you can either just be crazy for 4 or 5 hours or be crazy all your life,this drug scares me.There are many drugs that I can say but I will be here all day.

Egg catchers

So egg catchers was a project we did last term.It involved making egg catchers with only drinking straws,string and tape.We all had a few concepts in mind but the aim was to make sure that if the egg landed on our egg catchers it wouldn't crack open and spill all the yolk.We did succeed and this was just a photo taken while in the middle of concept building.When we did get tested our concept for our egg catcher worked.Props to mone.

Our PSA about chromebooks

This is our PSA on keeping your Chromebook in a safe place and holding it in a necessary way.A PSA is a short message targeting the audience in a engaging way,usually PSA's are like commercials and we are just making a short movie for our PSA.A script is still in play and hopefully we get to do something with our PSA and maybe put it into some action.The future holds what our PSA can do.

Predicting what might happen on Friday.

Yes finally,all this hard work finally paid off because this week is the last week of school.So,most likely my prediction for Friday might be another principals assembly.Involving the Waikato chiefs and what their doing and stuff (go hurricanes),It was teased that the head student leaders have a role on this Friday so I'm waiting to see what i'll happen next.Of course Mr Herlihy will probably be dressed in all Chiefs clothes and maybe even more accessories from the chiefs and so on.Hopefully Fun Friday doesn't involve a lot of school work.

What I did in my weekend

My weekend was nothing special,I am not going to include any images because have none.So on Saturday I went to Otahuhu pools and their was not much going on and the bombing pool was closed so going there didn't feel that great.Although the slide was open so that was one redeeming quality of it.Though always having to try and catch my siblings every time they go down the slide was not that great.Something disgusting happened inside the bombing pool so the staff contaminated it and told everyone to stay out for the disgusting bits were still inside.The next day (Sunday) wasn't that special either,the only interesting part I could recall was the park and Swimming in the fountain at mission bay.The park I guess was alright,didn't interest me that much but was still fun to play around with my siblings.I kept regretting my decision not to bring proper shoes because running and climbing around in jandals isn't that fun.We went for a 5 minute swim in the beach until we had enough,then came the fountain.It actually was kind of fun,we climbed around the designs and we actually played some great games in the fountain.The fountain was shallow but it was deep enough so I wouldn't break anything,by the way jumping off one of the parts of the fountain into the water was really fun but hurt a little.We saw other kids coming to the fountain (as usual) but we managed to share all of the fountain.So that was all of my weekend.

Turbo touch

Turbo touch was one of the activities I enjoyed last week.We held a little class tournament where all of our class got divided into 5 teams.Team 4 was the team I was assigned to and we did better then we had all expected.We won 4 matches and had a draw with team 1,so the results had been announced and we tied first with team 1.That was my highlight of last week.
